Anthesis Wines is D’Argenzio Winery’s sister label. Sandro and his wife Breanna Tamburin (daughter of Ray D’Argenzio) are the founders and owners of the Anthesis label.

Winemaker Sandro Tamburin’s passion for viticulture and fermentation has always been a part of him. He grew up in the vineyards of Trieste, Northeastern Italy, and took his memories of his grandfather cane pruning their estate vineyard with him when he came to America when he was 17 years old. Sandro strives to make his wine in the old way, “Alla Vecchia”, where they leave the skin in contact with the juice for a prolonged period of time.

Local viticulturist and winemaker, Paul Hobbs founded CrossBarn in 2000, showcasing chardonnay, sauvignon blanc and pinot noir from Sonoma County and cabernet sauvignon from Napa Valley. Named after the one hundred fifty year old ‘cross barn’ located on the Hobbs family farm in upstate New York, CrossBarn honors the values of hard work and integrity instilled in Paul from his childhood. The wines reflect his commitment to sustainably nurturing the vineyards and offer a pure and youthful expression of fruit blended from diverse vineyards within California’s finest appellations.
